Vietnamese Duck Egg

This hair duck egg is actually a not yet fully developed embryos. The northern Vietnamese like to eat this type of duck egg when the beak and claws of the duck have already been remarkable prototype inside the egg.

Usually, this kind of egg is cooked with the shell. Before they start eating the egg, they will peel the shell in a little hole so that they can drink the broth inside the egg shell. Even though the egg is almost successfully  hatching to be a duck, and the bone of the duck is already forming inside the egg, people say that the texture of the egg is still soft.
